In Indonesia, there is strong need to invest more heavily in infrstructure with the country lagging behind in its invesment levels and resulting access indicators. The bank has had a long enggement in the road sector in Indonesia. The current transport portofolio consists of two on-going and 2 planned road project during the next three years the transport sector is also involved in the development policy loan operations and PPP. To support this purpose, the world Bank in Jakarta is recruiting :


HIGHWAY ENGINEER
Job # 100345


The applicant should possess the following characteristics :
  • Master level degree in either Civil Engineering or Highway Engineering
  • At least 8 years experience in transport operations including management of transport project, road project, experience in contract administration, planning and programming of capital and maintenance works and institutional reforms.
  • Comprehansion of typical sectoral issues in transport, including experience in advocacy of sector policy reforms and management and financing of transport infrastructure.
